- All forms in this application are to be completed in English and typewritten in black ink. As applications must be photocopied, do not use blue or other colors of ink.
- All pages and parts of the application must be completed and returned to constitute a full dossier.
- Every question must be answered completely and carefully.
- Please indicate your current contact information, first of all, cell phone number and email address that you check regularly. Second priority is your office and home telephone numbers. And finally, we will also need your fax and your home address where we can send correspondence.
- Completed applications should be returned to the Fulbright Office in Moscow not later than July 01, 2010. Incomplete applications cannot be considered.
- Your three Letters of Reference must include at least one letter from someone who has supervised you in work related to your proposed field of study and one letter from the rector or a vice-rector of your university. Letters of Reference should not be written by persons related to you either by blood or marriage, or by personal friends. The letters should be written in English if possible, or accompanied by accurate translations.
- Statement of Purpose. The Statement of Purpose should be no longer than three pages in length and should include:
- Your reasons for applying to the Fulbright Russia International Education Administrators (RIEA) Program
- Why your qualifications and experience are a good match for the program
- Specific details about your background in working with international students, the positions you have held, and your personal goals for participating in the program
- What you could contribute to a U.S. host institution in terms of international education cooperation, cultural exchange, and the promotion of international understanding
- What you could contribute to the activities or objectives of an international student office in the U.S.A.
- What you expect to gain from the experience and how you would utilize what you learn when you return to your home university.
- Resume (Curriculum Vitae). Your C.V. should be no more than three pages in length. When composing a curriculum vitae, it is important to include:
- education (universities attended, degrees earned and dates received)
- positions held
- courses taught and other services provided to students and the home institution
- publications (provide full citations and list them starting with the most recent)
- other professional activities, such as workshops, seminars and consultations
- membership and activities in professional associations
- professional honors, awards and fellowships
- community service
- may also include non-academic interests such as sports, music, art, etc.
